$50.00 METER READING PENALTY

Recently, there has been a huge increase in the number of customers not submitting a monthly meter reading.  A (customer-provided) monthly meter reading is required to generate an accurate gas bill.

In order to counter-act this trend, we unfortunately have no other alternative but to send our field staff to obtain missed readings.

Effective immediately, if a reading is not submitted and received in our office by the 10^th of each month, our field staff will read your meter and a $50.00 + GST penalty charge will be applied to your account.  To avoid this charge, we are asking you to read your meter as close to the end of each month as possible. Readings can be sent in by phone (left on the meter-reading voice-mail box – 24 hrs/day), fax, e-mail, or through our website (www.evergreengascoop.com).
